ANNOUNCEMENT
Sub: Amendment in the Companies (Registration of Charges) Rules, 2014
This is to inform you that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide its notification dated 29th August 2022 has amended the Companies (Registration of Charges) Rules, 2014.
After Rule-12, Rule-13 has been inserted and the said rule is about Signing of charge e-form by insolvency resolution professional or resolution professional or liquidator for companies under resolution or liquidation.
The amendments are as follows:
1) The Form No. CHG-1, CHG-4, CHG-8 and CHG-9 shall be signed by insolvency resolution professional or resolution professional or liquidator for companies under resolution or liquidation as the case may be and filed with registrar of companies.
2) Particulars of Form CHG-1 have been amended and have been substituted with new form CHG-1.
3) Particulars of Form CHG-4 have been amended and have been substituted with new form CHG-4.
4) Particulars of Form CHG-8 have been amended and have been substituted with new form CHG-8.
5) Particulars of Form CHG-9 have been amended and have been substituted with new form CHG-9.
